Most lockouts end with the lock still working. We pick, shim, or manipulate the mechanism open whenever the hardware allows it, and we only move to drilling when a cylinder is high security, damaged, or seized past the point of picking. If a lock does have to come out, you hear that before it happens, and we carry replacements so nobody is left with a hole in the door overnight.
Call when keys are inside, lost, or snapped off in the cylinder, and stay near the door if you safely can. We will ask what kind of lock it is and how you can show the place is yours, because checking that is part of every legitimate lockout. Once you are back in, we can rekey on the spot if the missing keys are still out there somewhere.
