Rekeying & Key Cutting

New locks are not always the answer. Rekeying retires the old keys and keeps the hardware you already own.

Rekeying changes the pins inside a lock you already own so the old keys no longer turn it. The lock stays on the door, the finish still matches the rest of the house, and you walk away with a fresh set of keys. When several doors share a house, we can pin them all to one key, so front, back, and garage open with the same piece of brass instead of a crowded ring.

The usual reasons are moving into a place, a set of keys that never came back from a tenant or a contractor, or a keyring lost somewhere in town. We cut spares while we are there and check each one against the original on the machine rather than by eye, so the copy turns as smoothly as the key it came from.
